"Metaphysics": Solo Show: It's a Wrap!
50 pounds of glass, approximately $2500 and 200 hours later, my neon solo show opening has come and gone. The opening went very well. So many friends came out to support and I appreciated seeing a lot of new faces viewing my work. I’d like to thank the people that I have worked with previously for coming to support me: Micke Tong, Betty Bigas, Jeff Whitmore and Emilio Freire.

I’d also like to give special thanks to the following people for their amazing contributions to and support of my work: Lori Shantzis, Jillian Mackintosh, Semar Prom, Ian D Brown A.K.A “Indigo Danger”, Patrick Stoner, Bill Concannon, June Zandona, Shea Greene, Karanina Leigh, and Michael Flechtner.

My neon added to the aesthetics of San Francisco
I collaborated with 161 Project and Root Division for OUT SIDE ART, a block party at a new arts and entertainment venue opening up in the Mission. Local artists painted a wall that Banksy started and I created a neon swing that will permanently hang on the exterior of the venue on Mission between 14th and division.

Show @ Terminal22 Gallery in Oakland; "Paper Cuts"
I am participating in a group show at Terminal22 gallery in Oakland, CA called "Paper Cuts". It's all about the fragility or, in many cases, durability of paper as a medium in art. My Paper Kadish installation will be featured there amongst other artists that make their work from paper. The reception is on February 5th at 2443 Telegraph Ave from 6pm-10pm.
